Amnesiac / Morning Bell by Radiohead

在 Amnesiac 裡也發現了 Morning Bell!
主旋律還是一樣的，只是那永恆的爵士鼓不見了，孤獨的電子琴聲也不見了。

有樂評說“可惜！在我的耳中這個較平靜的版本聽起來比 Kid A 的好”(Sascha Oriwall from laute.de)

其實他說的或許沒錯，之於耳朵而言，Amnesiac 的版本悅耳得多，也可以輕鬆地營造出豐富的幻想情境。

但，這真的是“較平靜”的版本嗎？
我不知道，只是那個重重的“可惜”令我頓時有點難過，可能因為我喜歡看他的樂評，卻發現我們有不同的觀點，發現他的草率有點兒觸怒到我。
那段壓抑與哀求配上鼓的短促三連音，不是從谷底傳來的聲音嗎？不是在寂靜之下的掙扎？

那咬字實在太震撼了。
讓我想到古宗教音樂必有的，深刻的，循環不斷的那段歌詞 "Christeeleison" ，開頭的就是那清晰甚至刺耳的"C"。相當毫無疑問呢。
